The house is on the left, the garage on the right. Due to the sloping land, the garage has to be "engineered", with the floor of the rear of the garage being about nine feet above the grade of the slope. It's a slow process. We hope to see much more progress once this part of the garage is complete, and we can begin framing both the house and the garage. We are also awaiting the arrival of the steel beam that will run the length of the house. So far, it is a fun process, and we still are happy with our builder!
