We have a "temporary" occupancy permit, which means we can actually live in the house, but the garage is not yet finished, and the outside of the house is not painted, guttered, etc. This allows us to get a lot of our stuff out of the old house and keep it "staged" for potential buyers.And as luck would have it, the new furniture that we ordered for the living room was delivered on the same day that we had occupancy. We think it looks wonderful, if maybe a little bare!
