A busy week at 3 Morgan Street

We finally got enough ice melted to allow the truck with the doors to get to the house. Now a few doors are installed, as well as the trim around the windows and doors, and stained. It is beginning to look like a HOME!

The family room fireplace. This basement room is so much brighter than our current basement family room The higher ceiling really helps.

They are also busy tiling the bathrooms and the laundry room Looking good! We like it!

And here are two views of the ceiling in the great room. I am beginning to think that we will have to work around the scaffolding when we bring in the furniture. It seems to be a part of the house! By the way, if it always seems to be a little dark in my photos, it is because the sun is usually setting by the time we go over there on Friday afternoons after Hugh gets home.

We have the new camera, and will soon have photos of the house, but meanwhile . . .

. . . here you can see our light fixtures, some mirrors, towel bars, ceiling fans. One day, they will be out of their boxes and hanging in the house.

And here is Hugh, faithful to Michigan, recovering from his shoulder surgery, and bleary-eyed from all the TV he has been watching.
